1.1.The journal "Bulletin of Moscow University. Episode 15. Computational Mathematics and Cybernetics" is published by Lomonosov Moscow State University in Russian and by Pleiades Publishing Ltd. in English in printed and electronic form. 1.2. The journal contains publications in the form of articles and short reports on the main research areas of the Faculty of the Moscow State University University of Applied Mathematics and Mathematical Modeling: computational methods of applied mathematics and mathematical modeling, operations research and mathematical forecasting methods, applications of probability theory and mathematical statistics, mathematical methods for the study of nonlinear control systems and processes, theory and methods of system programming, software and mathematical support of computers and networks.
1.3.The selection of papers for publication is carried out by the editorial board of the journal on the basis of anonymous scientific review. Returning an article to the author for revision does not mean that it has been accepted for publication. The author should return the revised article to the editorial board along with a response to all comments made. It will be sent by the editorial board for re-review. The date of receipt of the article is the day when the editorial board receives its final version. The Editorial Board reserves the right to reject an article if its content does not correspond to the subject of the journal, and not to have a discussion on the grounds of rejection. An article that does not meet the criteria given in sec. 2 requirements, is rejected without consideration of its merits.
The author is provided with the proofreading of the article. No changes to the layout, except for correcting typos and restoring text that was omitted during the layout of the magazine issue, are allowed. The corrected and signed proofreading should be returned to the editorial office within two days after receipt.
1.4. Designed in accordance with the requirements of Sec. 2 the author submits the article (short message) to the editorial office in electronic and paper media (the second one, if possible). The electronic version (the original Tex file and pdf file of the article, as well as related materials in accordance with clause 1.5) must be sent to vestnik@cs.msu.ru. The volume of the article, including tables, illustrations and a list of references, should not exceed 15 pages on paper, and a short message - 4 pages. Illustrations are published in the journal in black and white, their number should not exceed 4. The article must be signed by all the authors.
1.5.The author submits the following materials to the editorial board:
the text of the article with illustrations in electronic form (to the address of the journal);
2 copies of the printout of the article (to the editorial office if possible);
2 copies of printouts of illustrations (graphs and drawings), each illustration on a separate page (to the editorial office if possible);
English translation of the article title, full name of the authors and a short abstract on a separate page (in a separate file, to the address of the journal).
1.6. Additionally, the author may submit to the editorial board an English translation of the article (the author's translation). The author's translation must be authentic and fully correspond to the original article submitted for publication in the Russian version of the journal. The quality of the author's translation and the possibility of its publication in the English version of the journal is determined by the Publisher (Pleiades Publishing Ltd.). If the author's translation does not meet the Publisher's requirements or is not authentic, the Publisher has the right to translate the original text into English independently.
The file of the translated and/or edited article is sent to the author by e-mail for approval. The author is obliged to review the received material within the time period specified in the cover letter and, if there are comments on the translation, send them to the Publisher. If the author's idea was not distorted during translation or editing, then the author should not suggest changes to the translation. If there is no response from the author after the deadline specified in the cover letter, the Publisher considers the translation agreed upon and publishes it.
1.7. Issues related to copyrights to published articles are resolved on the basis of a license agreement concluded with the author on the transfer of rights to use the article. The authors are not charged for the publication of works in the journal. For articles published in the English-language version of the journal, the authors are paid a fee in accordance with the established procedure. The author receives an electronic copy of the article in Russian and English.
